Connecting People with Creation

TRIJYA SHRUSHTI FOUNDATION
त्रिज्या सृष्टी फाउंडेशन

Trijya Shrushti Foundation is a not-for-profit, voluntary organisation working to restore the balance between human life and the natural world. The Foundation organises all of its work around the Panchamahabhute — the five great elements that make up creation.

Our Vision

A world where human life moves in harmony with creation — where every person sees themselves not at the edge of nature but connected to it by a single living radius, and where the five elements that sustain all life — earth, water, fire, air and space — are protected and kept in balance.

Our Mission

To restore and strengthen the bond between humanity and the environment by grounding everyday human action in responsibility towards the five elements. The Foundation works to:

  • Bhumi (Earth): Keep soil clean through waste management & conserve native trees.
  • Jal (Water): Protect, save, and replenish water resources.
  • Agni (Fire): Promote clean, renewable energy & energy conservation.
  • Vayu (Air): Protect air quality and reduce open burning.
  • Akash (Space): Nurture mental health awareness & emotional wellness.

Across all five, we build community capacity so that positive change is owned locally and lasts.

The Idea Behind the Name

The name of the Foundation carries its entire philosophy. "Shrushti" (सृष्टी) means creation — the whole of nature, built from the five great elements. "Trijya" (त्रिज्या) means the radius — the line that joins the human being at the centre to the entire circle of life around them.

A radius can either hold a circle together or be the line along which it is broken. In the same way, the human relationship with nature can either sustain creation or sever it. The Foundation exists to keep that radius unbroken — ensuring human progress and daily living remain in harmony with the five elements.

This bond between the human (manushya) and the environment (paryavaran) is held together by dharma — the principle of right duty and responsible action.

Custodian, Not Consumer

Every individual is a caretaker, not merely a consumer, of our shared environment.

Inward & Outward Harmony

True sustainability requires external care for nature and internal well-being of the mind.

completing the cycle

The Circle of Trijya

In nature, nothing moves in a straight line. Creation works as a closed circle where every element depends on the rest. Trijya is the radius that connects all five elements — Bhumi, Jal, Agni, Vayu and Akash — ensuring the cycle of nature remains unbroken.

Interconnected Framework

What Makes Trijya Shrushti Different?

Many organizations work on separate environmental issues. The Foundation adopts a holistic framework that recognizes that Earth, Water, Energy, Air and Space are not isolated elements but parts of one living cycle.

Theme Tattva

Bhumi (Earth / Soil)

Core Agenda

To keep the earth clean and fertile — reducing the burden of unmanaged waste and increasing green cover so that the soil, and everything that grows from it, stays healthy.

Aligned SDGs

🇺🇳SDG 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities🇺🇳SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production🇺🇳SDG 15: Life on Land

Key Activities

  • Awareness drives on waste segregation at source (wet, dry and hazardous waste).
  • Community clean-up drives in neighbourhoods, public places and around water bodies.
  • Promotion of home composting and decentralised handling of wet waste.
  • Campaigns against single-use plastic; special drives on plastic and e-waste.
  • Stopping open dumping and burning of waste to protect soil health.
  • Tree plantation drives using native species in public spaces, schools and degraded land.
  • Care and survival of saplings through follow-up watering and protection — not just planting.
  • Creation of small green pockets, gardens and biodiversity spaces where feasible.
Cross-Cutting Theme

Capacity Building

Capacity building is not a separate silo — it runs through every element. We build the knowledge, skills and confidence of individuals, volunteers and institutions so that action under each theme continues independently and grows over time.

Our Target Communities

Volunteers, youth groups, eco-clubs, women's self-help groups, local resident committees, and municipal stakeholders.

01

Training Workshops

For volunteers, youth groups, self-help groups and village committees.

02

School Eco-Clubs

Setting up and mentoring eco-clubs in schools and colleges to inspire youth.

03

Skill Sessions

Hands-on sessions on composting, sapling care, water conservation and energy saving.

04

Green Champions

Developing local environment leaders to sustain activities in their own neighborhoods.
